William Waterman is a mediator and adjunct professor of law at JFK School of Law at Northcentral University. He presently teaches litigation I and II, ADR and mediation (in the JD program), and torts classes (in the BALS and ABA certified paralegal program). Mr. Waterman has practiced law for over 30 years and defended large and complex personal injury, products liability, premises liability, construction site accidents, and catastrophic injury and damages cases. He has tried over 25 cases to verdict and handled over 400 cases in mediation as a trial attorney in private practice. Mr. Waterman works as a mediator in Contra Costa County Superior Court (small claims, landlord tenant, civil harassment) and also as a Court Settlement Mentor handling settlement conferences in unlimited jurisdiction cases. Mr. Waterman is also a Contra Costa County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem.
