Program title:
Civility in the Court System
Program Description:
Why has the State Bar added a civility program to our MCLE requirements? Has professional courtesy decreased in recent years? How should you balance civility duties to Opposing Counsel against loyalty to the Client desiring strong advocacy? Who controls procedural decisions: you or your client? Examine ways to extend civility without showing weakness. This program qualifies for an hour of credit in MCLE sub-field “Civility in the Legal Profession.”
